3 Free Online Trading Forums
Looking to learn how to trade, or take your trading to the next level with a supportive online trading community? Check out these 3 free online trading forums.
Traders have long turned to communities of fellow traders for support, ideas and inspiration. With even more options online than ever before, as well as the large number of traders on social media, picking out genuine help can be harder than ever.

Here are 3 online trading forums that have been around a while, and have built up a good reputation over the years. Also, they are free to join.
#1: Trade2Win
First up is Trade2Win, a UK-based financial trading forum and website. It was founded in 2001, with the aim to provide a platform for traders to communicate with each other and learn how to trade profitably.
It has a list of FAQs for new members, and the website hosts the Members' Choice awards every year for the trader that has contributed the most to the community.
Trade2Win has gained a good following within the trading community, but it is on the smaller side. As of August 2023, it has over 250,000 members and 750,000 forum posts.
The Trade2Win forum has a huge variety of different categories, including First Steps in Trading (for beginner traders), Markets (with subsections dedicated to different markets such as options, cryptocurrencies and forex), Methods (with different trading strategies), Trading Journals (where traders share their trading progress with the community), Broker Discussion (for comparing and sharing opinions on different brokers), Trading Career (with information on retail trading, trading for a living and prop firms) and Commercial (reserved for users who want to promote their services or products).

#2: BabyPips
BabyPips is an online educational resource that provides free information and courses on forex trading. It is designed for beginners who want to learn the basics, hence the name.
BabyPips is a popular resource for new traders who are looking to gain knowledge and skills in forex trading. The website offers a variety of resources, including articles, videos, quizzes, and a forum where traders can interact and share their experiences.
The BabyPips forum is a popular hub for new and seasoned traders alike. It is bigger than Trade2Win, as of August 2023, it had over one million members.
The forum has a variety of sections, including Beginner Questions, where most new traders start, Trading Discussion, which includes risk management practices, news, trade journals and trading lifestyle discussions, Trading Systems, including expert advisors (EAs), and a general Community subsection, where members can introduce themselves and ask questions.

#3: Forex Factory
Forex Factory provides real-time market data, economic news, analysis, a forex calendar, and trading insights to professional and amateur traders participating in the foreign exchange markets.
Its mission is to connect traders to the markets and to each other in ways that positively influence their trading results. The website is focused on curating forex-market information for traders, ranging from economic data to analysis from site members.
Forex Factory is perhaps the best known and largest forum of the 3 listed here, but as the name suggests, its focus is on forex, whereas Trade2Win has additional information on other forms of investing, such as SIPPs and ISAs.
The Forex Factory forum has various categories dedicated to different aspects of trading. Some of the forum categories include: Trading Discussion, Platform Tech, Broker Discussion, Trading Journals, Trading Psychology, and Trading for a Living.
Joining an online trading community can be really beneficial in providing trading inspiration and ideas, for a profession (or hobby) which can be very isolating at times. Whichever forum you choose to join, the caveat is of course to learn from others but at the end of the day focus on your own trading plan and psychology.
