Planning a holiday party in Las Vegas usually goes one of two ways. You either lock in a great venue early and enjoy the night, or you wait too long, overspend on a mediocre space, and spend the entire party worrying if there is enough food for your guests. As a professional event coordinator, I see the same mistakes happen every November and December. Planners get distracted by entertainment or decor and forget the two things people actually care about: the food and the space.

Las Vegas has thousands of restaurants and banquet halls. The problem is that many of them shove large groups into a noisy main dining room or isolate them in a windowless hotel conference center. You want a venue that offers dedicated private rooms with actual character and privacy, without the logistical nightmare of navigating a crowded casino floor during the busiest time of the year.

Here is exactly how you plan a corporate or private holiday gathering, keep your budget under control, and ensure your guests actually enjoy the evening.

Finding the Right Space for Your Group Size

When comparing holiday party venues in Las Vegas, you need to match the room size precisely to your headcount. If you put 15 people in a room built for 60, the energy dies and the conversation feels awkward. If you cram 40 people into a room built for 30, guests spend the night bumping elbows and waiting in line for the restroom.

At Ferraro’s Ristorante, we built our private dining spaces to solve this exact problem. We have distinct rooms tailored for specific group sizes, ensuring the atmosphere fits your guest list perfectly.

    The Radda Room

This room holds up to 10 guests. It works perfectly for an intimate family holiday dinner or a small executive team gathering where privacy is the main priority. You get a dedicated space to discuss year-end business or simply catch up with relatives without shouting over the noise of a main dining room.

    The Greve Room

Built for up to 20 people, this space includes built-in audio and visual capabilities. If you need to give a quick end-of-year presentation, hand out corporate awards, or show a recap video before dinner, this room handles the technical requirements easily. It gives you a professional environment that transitions immediately into a high-end dinner.

    The Castellini Room

This semi-private banquet room accommodates up to 32 people. Sliding doors separate you from the main dining room, giving your group privacy while keeping some of the restaurant’s background energy. It is an excellent choice for a mid-sized corporate lunch or a department holiday dinner where you want a lively atmosphere but still need your own dedicated space.

    The Firenze Room

This is our fully private banquet area for large groups of up to 70 guests. It includes a projector, a large screen, and a separate entrance to the outdoor patio. You can host a massive company reception or a large family reunion without competing with the rest of the restaurant. Having a dedicated patio entrance also means your guests can step outside for fresh air without walking through the main dining floor.

    The Outdoor Patio

If you prefer an open-air setting, the patio seats up to 60 people and features a central fire pit, heaters, and misters. It provides a relaxed, comfortable environment for an evening cocktail hour before a sit-down meal. It is a highly requested space during the cooler Las Vegas winter months.

    Selecting the Right Food Packages

You can book the best room in the city, but if the food is bad, that is all your guests will remember. Italian cuisine is the safest and most satisfying option for a large, diverse crowd. It offers heavy, comforting dishes for those who want a big meal, and lighter, vegetable-based or gluten-free options for those with specific dietary restrictions.

When you host your party at Ferraro’s, we offer three distinct pricing packages to keep your budget predictable. Instead of guessing how much a la carte ordering will cost for a massive group, you know the exact per-person price upfront.

    Option 1 Package

Priced at $105 per person, this package includes family-style appetizers served directly to the center of the table. You select two starters for the group, like our Bufala Caprese or house-made meatballs with polenta. Guests then choose their main course on the night of the event, picking from options like Veal Picatta, Scottish Salmon, or our Airline Chicken Breast. Everyone finishes with a choice of classic Tiramisu or a fresh Cannoli.

    Option 2 Package

For $125 per person, this tier expands the appetizer choices to three items, including premium options like charred Spanish octopus. It also upgrades the main course selections to include our 8oz Butcher’s Block Prime Filet Mignon and Mediterranean Seabass with a hazelnut crust. In addition to the main courses, your guests receive family-style side dishes for the table, including roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus.

    Option 3 Package

This is our premium package at $150 per person. We plate the appetizers individually rather than serving them family-style, giving the meal a highly formal, traditional banquet feel. The main courses feature high-end selections like potato-crusted Halibut with Ossetra caviar, a 10oz Prime Filet Mignon, and our house specialty Osso Buco.

These packages simplify the entire planning process. You select the price tier that fits your budget, and your guests still get the luxury of ordering their specific entree on the night of the party.

Taking the Party Off-Site with Italian Catering

Sometimes you already have a venue. You might be hosting the party at your corporate office, a rented warehouse space, or your own home in the suburbs. In that case, you need a catering partner who can deliver restaurant-quality food directly to your location.

Searching for Italian catering in Las Vegas yields a lot of results, but many caterers rely on frozen, mass-produced ingredients to feed large groups quickly. We refuse to compromise our food quality just because the meal leaves our building. Our catering menu features the exact same fresh, authentic ingredients we serve in our main dining room.

Our off-premise catering menu is designed around half trays, which serve 8 to 12 people, and full trays, which serve 20 to 25 people. This allows you to build a completely custom buffet for your guests.

You can order a full tray of our imported Italian Antipasto, packed with cured meats and imported cheeses, to give your guests something to snack on as they arrive. We make all our pasta in-house daily, so you can order massive trays of Rigatoni Bolognese, Spicy Amatriciana, or our famous Lasagna. To satisfy a hungry crowd, you can order proteins in bulk, including Chicken Piccata by the breast, whole roasted Prime beef filet mignon by the pound, and our braised Osso Buco by the piece.

We provide pickup and delivery options. If you need staff to manage the food at your location, we supply servers, chafing dishes, and serving utensils. We handle the setup and the cleanup so you can actually participate in your own party instead of running back and forth to the kitchen all night.

The Role of an Event Coordinator

Do not try to manage a 50-person dinner by yourself. Our dedicated Event and Catering Coordinator works directly with you from the initial phone call to the final dessert course.

They help you tailor the menu, figure out the seating chart, and manage the timing of the food service. If you need to stay within a strict corporate budget, the coordinator will tell you exactly which food and beverage packages will work without resulting in surprise charges at the end of the night. Having a single point of contact ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

Logistics and Execution: How to Keep the Party on Track

Great food and a nice room will not save a party if the logistics fall apart. Here are the practical steps you need to take to ensure your holiday event runs smoothly.

    Lock in Your Date Early

The prime dates for holiday parties are the first three weeks of December, specifically Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. These dates book up months in advance. If you wait until late November to start calling restaurants, you will be stuck with a Tuesday night or a sub-par venue. Get your date on the calendar by September or October.

    Manage the Headcount

Do not guess how many people are coming. Send out calendar invites, require a firm RSVP, and track the numbers carefully. When you book a private room or order off-site catering, the headcount determines your final bill. If 15 people no-show, you still pay for their food. Give the restaurant an accurate, final headcount a week before the event.

    Address Dietary Restrictions

You will inevitably have a few vegans, vegetarians, or people with severe gluten allergies in your group. Ask your guests about dietary restrictions before you finalize the menu. If you know this in advance, you can work with our Event Coordinator to ensure those guests have a dedicated, delicious meal ready for them. Trying to accommodate a severe allergy on the fly in the middle of a busy holiday service causes unnecessary stress for the kitchen and a long wait for the guest.

    Set a Firm Alcohol Budget

A consumption bar – where you pay for every drink ordered – can quickly blow up your budget if your guests drink heavily. Talk to our team about setting a limit. You can offer a specific, pre-selected wine list for the tables, distribute drink tickets to your employees, or put a hard financial cap on the bar tab. Once the cap is reached, the bar can convert to a cash bar where guests pay for their own subsequent drinks.

Hosting a holiday party requires organization and the right hospitality partners. Whether you are bringing your team into one of our private dining rooms or having us deliver trays of handmade pasta to your office, focusing on high-quality food and a comfortable environment guarantees a successful event. Call our team, lock in your date, and let the professionals handle the heavy lifting this holiday season.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How early should I book a holiday party at Ferraro’s?

You should book your holiday party at least two to three months in advance. The most popular dates in December fill up very quickly. Booking early ensures you get the exact private room that fits your specific group size.

Do the private dining rooms have audio and visual equipment?

Yes. Several of our private rooms, including the Greve and Firenze rooms, come equipped with audio and visual capabilities, including screens and projectors. Please let our event coordinator know what specific technical equipment you need when you book.

Can I customize the set banquet menus for my event?

Our pricing packages are designed to offer a balanced, crowd-pleasing meal. However, our Event Coordinator will work directly with you to tailor the dining experience to your specific tastes and budget if you need to make adjustments.

Does Ferraro’s provide staff for off-site catering?

Yes. If you order from our catering menu for an off-site event, we can provide servers, chafing dishes, and serving utensils for an additional fee. We manage the setup and the cleanup so you do not have to worry about the food service at your location.

Are there gluten-free or vegan catering options?

Yes. We make all our pasta in-house and can easily accommodate gluten-free and Paleo diets for a small upcharge. We also offer several vegetable-based dishes. You must inform our team of any severe allergies or dietary restrictions when you place your catering order or book your private room.

What is the maximum capacity for a private event at Ferraro’s?

We can host private parties starting at 8 guests in our smaller rooms. If you need to host a massive corporate event or a large wedding reception, we offer full restaurant buyouts that can comfortably accommodate up to 280 people.
