Deciding to leave for Turks & Caicos is already preparing for a long journey in the air. But the game was worth it. Just for the disconcerting arrival on the only landing strip of Providenciales airport, surrounded by turquoise water.
If the period was not the most ideal (too subject to the climatic hazards of the hurricane season), luck was rather on my side. This mixture of turquoise water, azure sky, and more or less threatening clouds gave a surprising and above all soothing atmosphere.
The advantage of going during this season, apart from the price of the plane ticket, is the total absence of tourists. Magnificent beaches just for you, what more could you ask for? The most beautiful spots are in the Middle (Mudjin Harbor) and North Caicos (Bambara). More remote places, where the wild does not rub shoulders with humans (or very rarely, with a few holiday homes).
There, the green vegetation blends with the fine sand and contrasts with clear, turquoise water. Some activities, although few in number, are also possible, including unmissable diving (swimming with turtles or dolphins), water sports, and jet skiing. The golden rule is to relax & chill, Turks not being popular for a diversified offer (unlike its Cuban neighbor for example). If it’s the relaxation that you’re looking for, you’ll be served!
Another little wonder: the sunsets. Whether the sky is very clement or conversely, grumpy so that it leaves room for light, the colors quickly become fantastic. This offers a truly timeless moment, magnificent and poetic at the same time.
In short, Turks & Caicos is worth the detour for lovers of relaxation, turquoise waters, and heavenly scenery but also for ocean lovers and diving fans. On the other hand, when it comes to the cultural aspect, you shouldn’t expect to see the masses. There remains the National Museum not far from Providenciales, and the Her Majesty prison in Cockburn Town.
But where should you stay while there?
If you follow my advice, I would happily recommend one of the 2-bedroom luxury villas in Turks and Caicos. The luxury villas are managed by White Villas, ensuring they are well-suited to anyone dreaming of a five-star holiday on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
With two bedrooms and three bathrooms, these luxury villas can accommodate up to 6 guests. Each villa is equipped with a private swimming pool so swimming and relaxing by the pool while enjoying the Caribbean skyline is not just a dream.
Large windows and doors that can be opened allow you to view the Caribbean Sea at any time if you wish. I guarantee your imagination will be free without any obstacles. If you want to relax and get away from the noise, try sitting with a bottle of wine on the spacious second-floor terrace. You will definitely feel a swelling sensation that stems from your admiration for the natural landscape of Turks and Caicos.
I have stayed twice at one of the White Villas villas and I always want to go back and come back there. Why not? I was treated like a celebrity and everything I needed was just a few clicks away on a special guest app. I even got my own personal chef. He is very skilled and when I wanted a Caribbean dish tailored to my personal tastes, he had no objections about it. He managed to serve up some authentic Turks and Caicos dishes with the taste sensations I wanted.
In conclusion, Turks and Caicos is well worth the time it takes you to get there and your vacation will be much more memorable if you stay in one of the luxury villas under White Villas management.
